The Vision of Nobel Medical College Teaching Hospital (NMCTH) is to provide quality medical education in a holistic way and serve the various communities of Eastern Nepal.
The Mission of Nobel Medical College Teaching Hospital (NMCTH) is to promote human health while stimulating innovation as education is provided at NMCTH in a dynamic learning environment in order to develop physicians, medical scientists and public health professionals. They are trained to become leaders in their respective fields so that they can contribute effectively to the advancement of the basic and clinical sciences in medicine through discovery, research, and publication/communication and provide best care to patients and serve the communities.   
The Goals of Nobel Medical College Teaching Hospital (NMCTH) is to produce doctors who are compassionate, community oriented, affective towards the serving society, competent in application of good communication skills, medical ethics and professionalism with sound cognitive domain and efficient psychomotor skills.
Nobel Medical College has been playing an active role to fulfill the government plan "Health for all". The management of Nobel Medical College has been a part in the joint effort of the Government and the private sector to achieve the health indicator targets as laid down in the Long Term Health Plan 1997-2017 by HMG-Nepal through services to various communities.
COLLEGE
Nobel Medical College Teaching Hospital (P) Ltd., an affiliate to Kathmandu University, was founded in 2007. The college is located in Biratnagar, one of the majoracademic hubs of eastern part of Nepal. It’s key objective to impart international standard medical education to the meritorious students of Nepal and abroad enrolled for both medical and paramedical courses.
Nobel Medical College, Recognized by the Nepal Medical Council (NMC), has constantly maintained its academic standards at par with the requirements of other Medical Councils and Universities across the globe.
Our internationally renowned faculties are dedicated to bolster the image of the college in national and international arena. Their contribution has been supportive towards our process of enlisting it in the World Directory of Medical Schools, WHO.
TEACHING HOSPITAL
The Hospital presently has 900 beds of its own at full function. It serves the patients from various communities of Nepal and adjoining districts of India. It has already started Super Specialty Services with eminent super specialized doctors. The hospital is expected to expand its bed strength up to 2000 by 2015.

  • Health Insurance Program in VDCs as pilot program of Nepal Government. This program is launched in Mangalbare VDC, Morang and its surrounding VDCs in coordination with Mangalbare PHC.
  • Yearly 55 scholarships to students in paramedical, medical, dental, nursing courses.

With the increasing demand of health care system of the country, Nobel Medical College Teaching Hospital started the B. Sc. Nursing program from the August 2010 session. This program has the affiliation of Kathmandu University (KU) and is approved by Nepal Nursing Council (NNC).

PCL in Medical Lab Technology

The course aims to produce middle level medical laboratory technology personnel with sound academic knowledge equipped with perfect technical skills who can face real life situation at the level they are aimed at. The course enables students to:
  • Perform routine and special laboratory investigations on clinical and non-clinical samples independently.
  • Interpret the results and explain underlying principles in each investigation.
  • Prepare reagents required for routine and special investigations.
  • Set up primary health centre and district level medical laboratory clinic.
  • Practice quality control system in medical laboratory to deliver quality reports.
  • Perform middle level laboratory management works, supervision of subordinates and preparation of reports.

PCL in Radiography

The course aims to produce middle level radiography and imaging manpower with sound academic knowledge equipped with perfect technical skills, which can face real life situation at different levelof hospitals and related institutions.
At the end of the course, the student should able to:
  • Perform all routine radiography/and assist in special x-ray examination
  • Maintain photographic and x-ray equipment in good working order
  • Possess knowledge on recent advances in imaging technology.
  • Protect the patients and staff from possible radiation hazards and make sure that the patients and staff do not receive unnecessary radiation.
  • Maintain records of x-ray examinations, filing of radiographs & ordering of necessary radiographic supplies.
  • Provide care of the patients whilst in the x-ray dept.
  • Prepare radiography set up required for routine and special investigations.
  • Set up primary health centre and district level radiography clinic.
  • Practice quality control system in radiology department to deliver quality reports.
  • Familiarise middle level radiography management works, supervision of subordinates and preparation of reports.

PCL in Dental Science

The course aims to produce certificate level Dental Hygienists with sound academic knowledge combined with related technical skills, which can face real life situation at the level they are aimed
at. The course enables:
  • To prepare technically competent middle level human resource who will demonstrate positive attitude and respect to the profession and to the socio-cultural values
  • To develop quality & ethical dental Science practice in the hospitals as well as in the community settings
  • To develop the attitude to educate and motivate the patients and community to practice plaque control measures to maintain oral Science
  • To acquire the skill to perform diagnosis & dental scaling of common periodontal disease
  • To use periodontal instruments for basic periodontal therapy and maintenance of the same
  • To develop attitude to impart preventive measures of oral health, especially preventing the periodontal diseases
  • To conserve the tooth to the maximum possible extent by maintaining periodontal health & ART procedure.
  • To develop an attitude to perform the procedures under full aseptic measures
  • To develop attitude to prevent iatrogenic disease, and

Diploma in Pharmacy

The course aims to produce middle level pharmacy personnel with sound academic knowledge equipped with perfect technical skills who can face real life situation at the level they are aimed at.
The course enables students:
  • To prepare technically competent middle level pharmaceutical human resources who will demonstrate positive attitude and respect for the profession and socio-cultural values.
  • To develop middle level pharmaceutical human resources for good pharmacy practice in the hospitals as well as in the community settings.
  • To inculcate leadership quality in pharmacy assistants to manage rational supply of pharmaceuticals and to promote rational use of drugs within the health care service or at the private pharmacies.
  • To develop middle level pharmaceutical human resources in order to assist in production and quality assurance of pharmaceuticals.

 The teaching hospital of Nobel Medical College Teaching Hospital at Kanchanbari in Biratnagar, Nepal is a 900 bedded hospital with all facilities required for a tertiary care center. With the support of clinical faculty and other professionals, this hospital has been serving patients from eastern Nepal and surrounding villages of India. It has daily patient flow of more than 1000 patients and more than 77% bed occupancy in inpatient services.
Faculty and staff from Anesthesiology and Critical Care Department as well as Surgery Department  are available 24 hours for pre anesthetic checkup and surgery.
